The Matyrhan Lakat-Hro, which is shown in my camera drone imagery here, is an incredible anomaly. The Lakat-Hro Grand Caravan was said to have been destroyed when the Great Wildlands star system, SL-YBS, went nova.

Either the star detonated, destroying the caravan, and then something, or someone, transported the massive wreckage of a Hel-class supercarrier through a wormhole to Thera, or they entered a wormhole shortly after the main sequence event, and were then destroyed. It never made much sense how the caravan was destroyed; they were equipped with jump drives and warp engines, why wouldn't they be able to evade such an event? And now it seems we may have discovered a clue why.

Salvage teams determined that every form of data recorder was systematically wiped, a feat nearly impossible on a ship of this size, without extreme shipboard, compartment-to-compartment sweeps. GMVA continues to investigate this as perhaps the most troubling situation in the Thera system, beyond the evident humanitarian disaster that has occured here.

Numerous planets have been completely obliterated, out to a radius of dozens of astronomical units. This devastation is of a magnitude vastly above what was witnessed at the Seyllin event; there, only the first planet was damaged. In Seyllin, and the other systems affected, the stations were totally undamaged. But here, numerous stations have been obliterated, their fragments and debris littering the orbit of several worlds.

The casualties will likely extend to the hundreds of thousands, if not much more.

The Villore Accords awaits an official statement from the Servant Sisters of Eve regarding these events.

Either they make a statement or their access to Empire space should be immediately revoked by CONCORD until they explain how they managed to trigger what appears to have been another Seyllin-class event in Thera.

Hey man, just because someone was on the street near the block where a house caught fire doesn't mean that person caused it.

Yes, because the words "Exotic Specimens" located near Sleeper/Talocan facilities is clearly not a 'bad thing'.

Seriously though, this entire system is in chaos. There needs to be an immediate intervention or many more lives will be lost before they can be recovered from their life pods and stations.

Fair enough. But you're gonna need a lot more than a few cloaked ships there mate.

A whole hell of a lot more.

Yeah, I'm not going to pretend there isn't evidence supporting the Sisters performing potentially dangerous experiments utilizing sleeper and talocan tech.

As reported elsewhere, four of the stations are operational. Attempts to hail these stations and discuss the situation have been rebuffed, they seem to have their hands full. It's possible that the SSOE has recovered many of the survivors and moved them to these stations, but we need more hard evidence before we call off continued rescue operations.

The Lakat-Hro is out there?!

So many questions arise from this, but the most important one looks to have been answered and at least my people might have some sense of closure.

May they be at peace with their Ancestors.

What was the nature of the Lakat-Hro's disappearance? Was the last system it was seen in experiencing something like Sey did?

Yeah. SL-YBS, in the Great Wildlands.

Yeah it vanished with the original Seyllin event, it was assumed destroyed in the event.

Which leads to more questions.

Let's be sure to stick to facts and not supposition. Or superstition.

Any word on not just the SOE or CONCORD but what our respective governments are saying about all this? So far on the State side, things are mum.

OK this is a long shot but someone remind me, Caroline's star, and the star from the first Seyllein incident. Were they in generally the same area of space? Did they occur near each other???

The original Bright Star was located far to the galactic south, several million lightyears away. It also took place a whole year before the Seyllin Incident.
