Any tips for playing the game across both my monitors?

My messy desk, sorry!

I have two 1920x1080 monitors side by side and I've decided I'd like to try and play EvE across both monitors as my UI feels cluttered and claustrophobic, especially in space when I have the D-scan open and such.

Is there a way I can add a custom resolution? As if I have it across both monitors completely I get the big ugly line down the middle and it makes it a little unplayable, I reckon if I lower the 3840x1080 down to 3800 x1080 it May shuffle the middle of the screen over a little and make it more playable.

I play mine in windowed with 2 x 22" mons.

I drag the window almost all the way but not quite to the right hand side - so my centered HUD circle is on the left screen and the moduals are on the right - this also leaves a thin strip of windows deskptop on the far right where i keep TS / Mumble / Vent open and thus dont need to use an overlay to see who is talking.

Might not be perfect but works for me just fine.

History is the study of change.

Still downloading the new client but there used to be a slider on the left side of the graphics options screen to shift the camera left or right. That helped me.

Studies have shown that the bezel will become invisible after a while.

!

I've never noticed that before, I'm gonna give it a go. Seems like a really good way around it. Thanks!

Fixed window mode.

Use the interface option to put it on the left hand screen.

Then set the resolution to make it cover both screens.

Move the ship with the 'ship view camera settings' -> camera center slider. use the tickbox too.

Move your capacitor by dragging it (from the center)

Woo! CSM XI!

I may train an alt into a loki for some links during my low sec roams, not sure. Could be fun!

Or even try send an alt into a WH soloto make some isk off PI for some passive income whilst I'm busy with college

Enable the new map (General settings, bottom left) and then dock it to one side so that it takes up one whole screen.

Not only does the new map look gorgeous, but the docking actually changes the effective edges of the game so that the ship sits in a new center based on the map's edge and the brackets that scroll along the edges of the screen will use the map as the edge too.

That's pretty cool! trying it now, although my hud is hidden now. Is it possible to move the hud to a new center or is it stuck there?

FOUND IT! it can be dragged left and right, yay! Thanks guys

There's a tiny little crosshair on screen to the bottom right of where those show up(you need to target something to see it) you can move them with this.
