Watched 3 more cruisers land, scan the beacon, scan their dead friends, burn towards the cloaked tower, and then warp off. I decloaked an alt that was watching the site just to check and they did NOT aggress the ship. These are not normal sleepers.

I think everyone failed to note the fact that the Sleepers have shields. Either that or I'm going crazy.

Noob statement - Do they not normally have shields? It's been a long time since I've danced the Sleeper dance... But no, you're not crazy. They do have shields.

First sleepers I have recorded with shields

Ah Yes I did notice that. I have mentioned it to others, just not in this thread.

I can confirm, the sleepers in Anoikis have not acquired shields, its just these new ones that have them.

This time after they scanned whatever they were scanning, they warped to a POCO. I followed them there and they seemed to scan that as well. Again no aggression after I shot torpedoes at them. Just went on scanning me, each other, wrecks, POCOs, their station, whatever was in the area.

Warp disruptors DO apply to them and they will be unable to warp while pointed. Once released, they rejoin their comrades.

After leaving that POCO, they went to an asteroid belt and sat pleasantly with a couple Guristas cruisers and a Battleship... No fire was exchanged. The Battleship was scanned by the sleepers, though.

So.. has anyone tried with the Jove ship (Gnosis)?

Also anyone tried AR/SH/Cap RR modules on it?

I tried Cargo scanner, but opens a window with no cargo found....

Tried shooting it, drones, Relic, Data modules, nothing..

I've got some business to tend to planetside, but I'll have to see if I can find one of these things once I'm undocked.

I mean really, how many can there be?

Sleepers with shields? I have never seen this in my time in Anoikis, and that would be troublesome if they have adopted shield tech. So my question is, are these confirmed as sleepers? I have seen Rogue Drones with great similarities to sleepers, and the confusion is understandable. So any camera drone images would be appreciated, or better yet, video streams.

I'll be stuck on one of our colonies for a few days dealing with an ongoing investigation on the disappearance of one of our shuttles. Shuttle crash on a empty planet, crew crucified, not good. Til this is solved, I won't be in k-space, but can still assist in analysis.

Yeap 100% sleeper drones, even the Show Info / Description says so.

The structure on the other hand, no idea, someone said Jove from some CCP posts, but it;s not confirmed.

All the information I have available about the ships suggests they are sleepers, but doesn't give any information about their origins or intentions.

As for the structures, I have found no information about them, nor has anyone shared anything with me beyond supposition.
I have heard the suggestion that these may be Jove, but there is no proof. It has been noticed that gates in Jove space and the adjacent UAA-F4 region have stopped reporting to the gate network (possibly destroyed, but unconfirmed due to the inaccessibility of those regions), which may just be a coincidence.

While I can surmise that maybe whatever Carolines Star is has effected the Jove and they have chosen to evacuate and these structures are enclaves of some sort, it is pretty much unfounded. They may also predate that event and have only recently become visible. Their cloak seems to be malfunctioning, and gas clouds around them suggest they may be venting. it is possible whoever attacked the sleeper caches set up in New Eden also attacked these.

Located another one in HD-HOZ, The Kalevala Expanse. Same result as everyone else, Sleepers dropped in, scanned (I think) everything then moved on. Couldn't do anything useful with the structure. 1 thing of note: when I got close to the structure my own cloak failed. That doesn't normally happen with other cloaked ships, only visible ones.

Yeah that is very interesting, and I noticed the same thing. That it isn't totally concealed my be the reason ship cloaks fail.
What is interesting, though, is that proximity does not seem to further disrupt the cloak of the structure. I can't tell if it's because the cloak is already partially disrupted, or if it isn't vulnerable to disruption through proximity.

I assure you, sir, that Caldari Corn Paste does not deal with the Jove. We have launched several unmanned supply ships filled with our product to their space. Estimates are they shall arrive in a few years. I do hope they enjoy it! Also I must continue to deny Caldari Corn Paste's involvement into advanced and experimental shield research. No idea what these sleepers are. We certainly have not sold them anything. I will double check with Accounting, though.

First the Gallente and their rogue drones, now the Sisters of Eve have somehow unleashed the Sleepers upon us all.

And yet you all have the audacity to call the Amarr evil. Incredible.

and what proof do you have this is in any way related to the activities of the SoE?
It could just as easily be a reaction to capsuleers shooting at their ships and structures in their own space, and it could also be unrelated, and coincidental.

If it works like our cloaks then the structure is not decloacking simply because your ship is too small compared to it.
If any mass could decloak a ship then we would costantly get decloaked by small pebbles, microscopic parts of wrecks, etc.

We should try throwing something equally big at it... like a station perhaps.

Anyone got a spare station on hand?

Oh would you get off your ******* high horse to try and make this about Amarr this woe is us that grr capsuleers? I think this is a bit bigger and more important than any Empire in the Cluster. We get enough bitching about that, don't turn this situation into another grr Empires thing.

Anyone figure anything out about those...disruption towers and weird gates?
