Frig Holes

My corp frequently make use of frigate wormholes to... well roam with frigs and destroyers.

I like them for a couple of reasons.

Firstly, they're not replacing existing wandering holes but are an addition so it extends your roaming opportunities by default. With today's meta currently shifted in favour of frigs/cruisers anyway it's pretty good to have these extra options.

Secondly, several times we've coaxed nullsec residents back to a frig hole we're using and let them find it. This means we can up-engage on a WH against cruisers and trap them there because often they won't immediately realise it's mass limited.

If you find them useless and not adding anything then you're simply not being creative enough.

the null example you give only applies to a small percentage of frig holes (alot of em are wspace to wspace), looking for examples of such kills on ur corp kb suggests you don't actually operate in wspace, but maybe im wrong. simply sayin you are not being creative enough does not address the other issues that are more specific to wspace.

- most cruisers in wh space will maul frigates
- engaging with sleepers on grid is very risky (depending on class and wh effects)

this imo is a bit too limiting to make them interesting to the broader playerbase in conventional wh space. but hopefully thera and co will provide a better environment...
