Rhea frame rates

Pre-Rhea I had no problem staying locked at 60fps interval one (120+ interval immediate) with everything set to high except shadows and AA. Now I sit right around 40-45 no matter what I do. Tried lowering every setting to low and it never gets much better. Switching to interval immediate will take it to 60 but also increase my card temp by 10deg c. I expected a fps hit with the shader changes but should it be this bad?

Also odd, prior to patch enabling resource cache gave me a few extra fps. Not much but a little. Now after patch it actually reduces my fps. What gives?

Another edit:
Just noticed the fps is extremely unstead, before it produced a fairly smooth line with changes based on environment changes. Now it's like a saw tooth. I also play on a dual screen setup with a number of windows open, I just noticed that by closing just one window I got a 5-10 fps boost. Leads me to think it's the new UI dragging me down and not the new ship rendering.

And another:
Just sitting in station with FPS monitor open and not moving the camera at all, my FPS is fluctuating back and forth from +30 to +50. As I said before, fps monitor used to create nice smooth lines, now it's drawing teeth.

AND... another:
If I just start clicking in any window, not on any buttons or items or anything, just open empty space the fps will drop to a steady 30 till I stop clicking. More indication that it's UI problems?

Last one I promise:
Disabling window blur resulted in 20+ fps increase. Pretty and all but no thanks. Thank you however for putting in the option to turn it off. :)

Thank You Daemun Khanid,

To disable this Feature, helped me a lot, fixing my FPS-Issues scince patch today on one of my older pc in my office. (for EVE)
This Smooting-Effect is nice. But for older Graphiccards maybe not optimal. Its an i7 with 16 GB RAM. But this machine only has a GeForce 9800 GT.

I have a similar system but with an AMD HD5770. Previous gen cards apparently aren't too fond of that transparent blur effect. Having LOTS of windows open just amplified the effect for me. Glad it worked for you as well.
