I would say Goons however Goons have been given a free ride ever since they welped Delve.

While I'd hate to admit it but PL. So long as they're not overly distracted by BF2/BF3 they have caused the most influence in 0.0 in the past couples years then any other alliances. Even BoB wasn't that special since all they did was survive for so long(granted with CCPs help). Other then that all they did was defended invasions and lead failed ones.

They've got, what 40% of civilized territory? Add their Caldari allies and you've got well over half of civilized space kept clear of the duct tape Matari and Frog eating Gallente.

Funny how russian alliances arn't even (or almost not) mentioned. xXDeathXx is the biggest (single) alliance in game.

Goons.

Russians are the silent and menacing type. They're huge but for the average high-sec/low-sec dweller they mean very little.

Apparently it means you need to learn how to read. Although it really wasn't what I was going for.

Might be as everyone know why they are so big. For each active player they have 10 BOT acc which they use for RMT.

Even CCP know it ... but I wouldn't be surprised, when CCP does nothing against it as the Rusian Mafia pay them xx% of all the RMT income to keep quiet.

Why the hell can't I fitt capital repairs or shield booster on an Orca ... it's an CAPITAL ship!

Phew...wow...good one. Having a huge blob of sov doesn't make an alliance good. They stuck around a long time, but only because someone has to do their dirty work for 'em. Atlas all but wiped them out...they had to have White Noise and PL come in to take out Atlas...and the biggest reason for their success was that Bobby decided chicken wings tasted better outside of EVE. Even now, they totally out-blob we -A- fags, but still have to call on PL/WN to come save the day. Mark my words, -A- will have their space back soon... and Red will always be nothing but a huge crimson swath of roaming territory.

Everybody who unsubscribed from EVE and managed to stay gone. That group won at EVE. I think they were the most successful.

I said something like this but I think my post was deleted, hmm

If an alliance, corp, guild etc are known to be successful in a game by default they ultimately have failed in real life.

I would say Goonswarm to have achieved being the best but even they failed at that

Shadow of xXxXxXxXxXDEATHXxXxXxXxXxXx or whatever is, in its entirety, a renter alliance. These are not the types that would fight for their space - they'd just evac, drop alliance and look for new landlords. (this is one reason why GSF does not rent space)

I must admit their "work" is impressive.

Brave to also show off their tactics and talk you through them.

I think Goons will be remembered as a group and maybe Mittens will be remembered by some but none of the others stand out or distinguish themselves. They are just a faceless and tedious zerg.
