My Theory to pvp in low sec is that flying expensive ships are pointess because they are countered by t1 and example of this is if someone has a t2 frig fleet a t1 fleet with logi will win and of course ecm.

I think you where lucky to win it actually.

First thing is to start repping when low shield and not wait low armour. This adds more presure on you and also you are more than likely to make a mistake.

Not sure of your fit but I figure it must be the standard t2 duel rep fit. Dont have your reppers next to each other in your fit and it means you can overheat 1 repper for some time. Look on EFT how long so you know time wise. It will allow you to tank better having one heated but if not needed then you switch off the heat.

You also action your reppers to repp at the same time. Great for Armour boost but bad for Cap.

Hit one low shield and when it get half way through its cycle you hit the other one. It a little less of a drain on the cap but seeing as he was putting nuet pressure that little bit of cap saves ships.

Drones:
You did not use your drone!
It extra 32-50dps and means a faster kill for you. remember too use them. (I am calling the kettle black here because I sometime forget myself.)
Extra dps is extra dps.

Firetail is not a expensive ship... He would have been active tank he would have probably won and he could have warp out mid fight. The fit you use have a lot more importance into counter someone else than the ship you are in.

And you example doesn't work since the other side can use logi and ewar too. And again depending if they are close range, sniper, shield or armor and the type of comp your fleet fly you will counter them or they will counter you.

Did you watch the video?

There was no feet.
The Firetail lost the fight but the OP wanted feedback and what does a fleet have to do with anything solo.

In addition to using your drone, remember to heat your guns. If you'd done both those things the fight would have been over quite a bit quicker.

The firetail's fit was pretty dire though, one set up properly for range control would have pecked at you from the edge of scram range until your cap charges were gone.

Also not sure if it's just me but the video was really really bright?
