It is. It is but our basal nature to shun or to destroy that which we perceive as 'The Other'. Many have learnt to ignore such impulses and focus on 'The Sameness' for the sake of peace, for cooperation in hopes that we can benefit. There are just as many that continues to vilify the others for their 'Otherness'.

It also doesn't help that nothing is more effective at uniting similar groups of people, at least on the short-term, than for the sake of fighting against or defending oneself against 'The Other'.

A Minmatar warship is like a rusting Beetle with 500 horsepower Cardillac engines in the rear, armour plating bolted to chassis and a M2 Browning stuck on top.

Yes, I had someone very dear to me who vilified "The Other." It led to his death.

"Nauplius, it is not a cry for help. I... the Amarr started this, and I must finish it. It is the debt that I must pay for my sins."

The tall, robed figure steps into the picture, holding a gun. The robes are splattered with blood, clinging to the thin body underneath. The Molok mask is still in place.

"As for you, Diana Kim, you are the very reason I am denying these girls life. They were destined to become like you. Heartless monsters, exterminating everything before their eyes. Unable to satiate their ever-growing bloodlust. Thus I must end them all, before it's too late."

The figure place the gun at the base of the girl's neck.

"I realise the irony in the situation, make no mistake, but it must be done. Abyssus abyssum invocat."

The figure pulls the trigger.

Transmission ends.

Well, the original may have stopped but that doesn't mean his copy cats have. Everyone who sees some reason to retaliate, Can we not? Diana? Please? Can you please not goad him into further killings by trying to get your revenge? I know you probably are anyways but your only giving him what he wants by doing so...
