Ok so it's my first time going into low sec/ wormhole!

The wormholes I'll be going into will be the ones I scan down, and the thing I hate more than anything is getting warp scrambled! And I was wondering if there is anything I can to stop myself getting warp scrambled? And can I have more than one to make it work better so I can increase my chances of escape?

Also I've heard there's no local in these low sec places! So a cloak is needed, what's the best type of cloak I can warp with and not have to de cloak!?

And lastly, I'll be scanning and want to practice this low scanning and probbing, so would I be ok doing it in a little Herron to practice with?

Warp core stabilizers can help you warp off if someone has you warp scrambled.

The rest of the questions. . . i don't really know what you're trying to ask.

If you take a wormhole into J space then yes. there is no local to show you who else may be there with you. But Low security space does have local.

You need to use a Covert Ops Cloak if you want to warp while cloaked. Which also means you can only use certain ships such as a Covert Ops Frigate, Stealth Bomber, Recon Ships. and the Sisters of Eve faction ships. (to name a few)

Learning to scan in a Heron is perfectly fine.

As a side note, If you are actually going to be traversing wormholes always remember to Bookmark the wormhole on both sides so you can get back with out having to scan it down all over again.

D-Scan is very important. If you don't know how to use that, it might be best to stay out of Wormholes.

I've heard d scanning is useful, and to always do it! What is it and how does that work? Think I'll watch a YouTube video of that! But anything in particular with d scanning I need to know whilst proving in space?

Hi John, it's good to see you want to visit more of New Eden.

Explaining D-Scan easily is fairly tricky as is most things in Eve. Like probing it makes more sense the more you do it.

As well as the tutorials on pootube you might want to watch a stream on http://www.twitch.tv/directory/game/EVE%20Online to see it being done in real time by pvpers trying to find targets. Even if you don't use D-scan that way it will help you to understand how it can be used against you.

If you train for a covert ops ship and cloak life will get easier too, if the bad man can't see you he can't shoot you. :D

Low-sec is easy, wspace is the hard part. You probably will lose more than you earn if you aren't even intimate with scanning and already want to get into wormholes. Probably best to master a few mechanics doing exploration in low-sec first.

these days if i want a taste for wspace i just read from http://www.tigerears.org/ <- this blog, gives you an idea of how extreme wspace occupants are when it comes to all the tiny little details involved in hole security, stealth and recon.
