Manfred Sidius of PL tolerates newbro recruitment scams?

Manfred Sidius is running for CSM.

His organization tolerates recruitment scams of newbros.

I for one would like an answer from Manfred on whether he supports newbro recruitment scams, or whether he will take a stand and do something about it.

Newbros come in all shapes and sizes, and are cruicial to the game. Ripping them off is not cool Manny.

Hopefully a journalist from EN24 will explore this topic.

Why are recruitment scams a problem and why does a CSM have to "take a stand against it?"

It's valid gameplay. The CSM represents different styles of gameplay.

Is it? I dont think so. But I am not running for CSM, my opinion matters little. In the end I only have a few votes.

But you know what matters? Having an in-depth discussion on the topic so that people can make an educated vote in the end.

I dont think it should be done by you or me. I think someone more qualified should interview a few people with different opinions, and present the arguments in a clear and concise way.

It takes 8-12 months, depending on implants, and attribute focus. More than a couple months into the game, you are not a new player. You might be an inexperienced pilot, low sp, etc, but you are not new.

I'm only making conjecture here, but I'm assuming these scams are done for profit so I can only imagine that scammers will seek out those with either experience or obvious amounts of money. If have either of those, I can't really make the argument that you are 'new'.

It will not get moved and it will indeed get locked permanently.

For two reasons:
A. this thread has not been started by someone willing to run a campaign for a seat in the CSM X, so therefore this thread would get locked there for it being against that particular sub-forum rules.
And B, Manfred Sideous already has a campaign thread up in CSM Campaigns, so this thread is redundant.
