New account creation page doesn't confirm password

I see there's a fancy new account creation page (I don't like it but what do I know about web page design?), but it's missing something very basic that almost everyone would say is required for account creation with password hiding: a password confirmation field. It is currently entirely possible to typo your password without any indication that you have done so and be locked out of your newly created account.
