If I have 2 characters training on the same account at Christmas

Does it mean I will get 2 sets of whatever the Christmas presents are? One for each charater training.

If I have 2 seperate accounts training then it would be nice to get 2 sets of presents, one for each character training. I mean CCP is getting twice the sub rate for that account, why not reward the player by giving them 2 set of presents.

And yes, If you have all 3 characters training on the same account. Why not reward them with 3 set of presents?

Just a thought.

No, the OP's actually right in this case. Training more than one character on an account is practically equivalent to using a secondary account. Yes, there are positive and negative tradeoffs between the two methods, but CCP is still getting two subs. Even more, in fact, because PLEXes cost more than subs. So while I don't exactly care much about this to begin with, I don't think that yapping about how you should be thankful for being allowed to lap up what "the man" generously bestows upon you isn't helping matters either.

I wrote some true EVE stories! And no, they're not of the generic "my 0.0 alliance had lots of 0.0 fleets and took a lot of 0.0 space" sort. Check them out here:

Your gift this year is the fact that im not a dev, because if I were CCP UaE, id be keeping a list of the gimme's, and they would get jack ****. If the number of gimme's reached a good percentage of the Eve current population, I would use my 20% time to make a super ******* fantastic Christmas gift for the players.. one that was sooo ******* good it made you literally orgasm with joy, and then make sure the gimme's knew that they weren't getting one.. at all.. on ANY account they had, period. And when they complained, oh and they would complain with the most delicious entitlement whines you've ever heard in your life, im talking diabetes inducing tearful sweetness.. id lock their threads with only a Big smile as the reason.







Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

If you are training a second pilot for more than 3-4 months, it makes more sense to have them on a separate account and pay the cost to move them back afterwards.

This way, you can get double the Christmas presents, too.

I expect CCP to give the OP and his alt coal for Christmas for making this thread. If CCP gives us any gifts this year, that will be great, but to expect them to do so is petty. We are now getting a 6 week release cycle. That alone is a gift from CCP.

One need only look at the moba community, or rather the games to realize this sort of "discrimination" already exists with developers. Rewarding/punishing players based on how they act towards others. I for one look forward to CCP UaE and his zero tolerance gimme policy.

We are PAYING customers? I have never seen a more skimpy subscription based game than eve.

The hell does that even mean? The subscription is a subscription to access the servers. No more no less. They don't owe us anything other than access to those servers. What else do you want?

All I want for EVE Chribbamas is for random hisec systems to temporarily be made lowsec at random intervals, without warning, lasting for 15 minutes to an hour at most, starting from Dec 21st to Jan 5th.


Could you imagine the joy if it happened to Jita? Or Amarr?

This has happened before. If I remember correctly, a bunch of bears threatened to class-action against CCP because of the losses they took that day.
