Launcher Crashes after fresh reinstall

I have just reinstalled the EVE Online client and it crashes the moment it runs.

I ran the EVE repair tool and it says my client is fine. Does anyone know how to fix this or work around it?

I fixed it. I got a little impatient, tried a few things and eventually got the client to work. If you have a similar problem, you might try doing what I just did:

- Uninstall EVE Online;
- Delete the EVE folder from my documents;
- Download the client [EVE_Online_Installer_848647.exe] from account management (instead of the public website);
- Reinstall EVE and run the client;
- Enjoy EVE.
