@ CCP, why do you have rules that you refuse to enforce?

Ah, yes, the "super troll" card. I was wondering when that was going to be whipped out Lol

You are certainly not the only troll here, but you are by far the worst.

Is that why you are spreading your butthurt across the forums, and reacting to everything I say?

Face it bro, you got tolled by a pro.

Well, if you didn't react to everything I said, and didn't go out of your way to post stuff against me in every thread i post in, even though it's totally off topic for the thread, I wouldn't consider you trolled.

Reacting to what a troll says, and proving that you are mad (which you did), means that you got trolled.

And what's even more sad, is that I told you that I was trolling, yet you still react negatively to everything I say, which means it OBVIOUSLY worked, since you are so fired up now.

Just take a chill pill and have some fun on these forums...

That's what they are made for.

For someone who didn't get trolled, you sure are making a big ******* deal out of it...

Actually, if CCP were to enforce this rule, any sort of camping, i.e. cloaky camping, station camping, or ragecaging a pos would be ban-able. I've come to the realization, that CCP just doesn't give a **** anymore. They only care about those who drop cash on this game, or suck d*ck like Mittani does.

Their primary goal is too: Make as much MONEY as possible.

If you hadn't noticed, people stopped bitching about cloaky campers, why? Because CCP kept telling them it was "legal". Goons bitched about Sov Warfare not being "hard" enough, so they changed it. CCP only cares what the power houses think, and whose dumping the most cash into their game.

This is EVE. **** happens, Get over it.

Piece of Advice, just keep spamming their petition system.

Quote:
2. In online gaming where one repeatedly killing the same individual or individuals over and over again, or camping their corpse to prevent them from retrieving it, or otherwise performing actions in a game to prevent the player from enjoying the game.

Quoted from Urban Dictionary. Said statement is false, if said person goes to another location. Griefing is only ban-able when said griefer is following/stalking said victim. Otherwise, CCP won't do ****. Good Luck, Have Fun.

@ Mittani: The fact that you were chosen as CSM shows how ****** this Community really is. Goons will always be bottom feeders.

I call this supporting the majority of the player-base. Loads of subscribers are silent i.e. they don't post about anything. The "power houses" are very loud and make their opinions known.. The rest i.e. 75% of the posters here, complain about legitimate game mechanics that if changed would disadvantage other people.

The power houses know the game better than you and get things FIXED rather than CHANGED to your advantage.. thats why they have more attention applied to them. When a problem actually arises that average players start being vocal about then they are changed as well.

Go cry somewhere else.

Having ADHD has nothing to do with your ability to control a vehicle.

As a matter of fact, my ADHD gives me uncanny reflexes.

You are saying there is no griefing in EvE by CCP's definition and that I am wrong.
No. He's saying that what you define as griefing does not exist as instances of griefing of EVE, because it doesn't match CCP's definition. I can't recall anyone saying that there is no griefing in EVE. It's just that it isn't what you want it to be.

Quote:
CCP understands and recognizes that a high attrition rate is bad for the game, and their actions affirm their words.
What actions and what words?
You make it sound like they are indeed, and contrary to your claims, enforcing the rules they haveā€¦

So which one is it?

1. I listed CCPs definition directly in the OP. I apologize for falling for the troll of "give an example".
2. They changed a game mechanic as I mentioned, not enforced a rule. If you aren't going to read and comprehend what is written please troll someone else's thread.

In the example I gave, it was suicide ganking a specific pilot a total of 8 times, for no profit. Some people say this is girefing, some people do not. It fits the criteria given by CCP. Whats amazing is that people condone this; "grief play" by CCP's definition or not. If thats how you "have fun", you literally fit the definition of sociopath.

Would you call somebody playing COD / MW / BF a sociopath if they repeatedly sniped the same person running the same track everytime?

Would you call EVE an FPS game, if so why you dont play FPS games which are actually better for what you are expecting.

Try to follow the concept, rather than focussing on the genre. That is the purpose of an example such as that.

In EVE, people are playing in a sandbox. This means just about any type of game style is allowed. Some of us will haul cargo. Some of us will mine hour after hour day after day. Some of us will sit at a gate camp in an obscure system waiting and lurking. Some of us will roam looking for targets. And others will play a game of harassment. I don't know the motivation behind 8 successive suicide ganks; perhaps they are trying to push that player out of the system or region? Maybe it is a bid for territory. Maybe it is just fun. I don't know.

What I do know is that within what is allowed by the game somebody has made themselves a viable target 8 times instead of changing their behaviour or using the game to avoid being ganked like that.

They've basically run the same track over and over, expecting the sniper would not be there to shoot them. I think there is a saying about repeating the same thing and expecting a different outcome?

Ai Shun,
I understand it, and really i dont care that much.. There is another thread buried. Something about morality and doors or whatever.
Its been beaten to death already.

Truth is .. people do whatever they can, if they can. Imagine Real World with same rulesets as the EVE has... It will be over in less then 45 minutes. Big smile
