So I bought a PLEX and it never showed up on my account. Furthermore the support ticket I filed has been ignored for over 2 days now. So what do I need to do to get my flex pass back? Is there no support for these issues, am I to be ignored?

Posting on these forums and bugging random people with it, is bound to help!

How many of these threads need to get get trolled out by GD-dwellers and BBQ'd by ISD before everyone realizes you're not supposed to freaking do this?

Sheesh sorry. But if you get ignore you seek other channels so perhaps another relevant question is how many of these threads have to be posted before CCP gets a move on providing prompt support?

It's a bit complicated. i also didn't undestand how it works. But it's described somewhere.

You have to claim the item in the login screen. At the bottom there is an icon to click and drag it to the toon you wish to give it to. Then in game, if I remember correctly you have to claim it again. Remember that you can only use the plex in a station. So there is no use in claiming them in space. You will only risk losing it.

If you bought from an authorized retailer, check the email you gave them for spam folders. If you bought form Steam, err, can't help you there.

It entirely depends on where you bought the PLEX.

PLEX takes an hour at times to show up in the redeeming system. Sometimes, when you buy PLEX directly from CCP, your card company can flag the transaction, and it wont go through officially until they contact you about the suspicious activity, eventhough you get a confirmation number and payment success. Its happened to me.

Also, I can confirm that posting in General Discussion about support ticket wait times will indeed speed those times up. Ive also found that the tone you take in support tickets can have a HUGE impact on how fast they might be handled. I know officially theyre all handled the same, but unofficially im sure it matters. As someone who has been on the business end of a customer support business, I can tell you that I was less than enthusiastic about handling the tickets that were capslock ragepounded in.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Unfortunatly the petition system can take time, as I am sure there are people who are buying plex and things to give to eve friends and that might cause a spike in request.

But even with that said, you won't get an answer officially from the forums, you just have to wait it out.

OMG Comet Mining idea!!! Comet Mining!

So you blamed CCP for not knowing how to redeem an item before you bought said item?

Talk to me I have a business proposition for you...

Its all our faults for assuming that people know the most basic of information. The problem with assuming that people don't know the most basic of information, is that your answers will almost always sound condescending. When that happens, then people assume their intelligence is being questioned, which leads to acute defensiveness, which then leads to retaliatory personal attacks, which leads to an ever escalating flame-troll war.

So you see, easy answers are evil, and lead you down the path to the troll side.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Are you really that impatient that after 2 days you already feel ignored.

Really.

You do know they use a First come, First served system and that you are on the end of the queue with your petition that also isnt of the highest priority...

I vote for the rule that anybody that comes to the forums complaining about their petition is automatically set to the back of the queue again. Just to set an example to learn to be patient.

As this thread and OP have been resolved, this thread will be closed. As a reminder, as the thread seemed to have cultivated some trolling, that trolling is prohibited within the forums per forum rules. Thanks.
