I am surprised at the lack of entries this year for the Rookieship brawl.

Yes, I have in fact.
I think the thing is so many folks are hardened to scams that they simply ignore most things posted in local chat.

CCP should be making an announcement about this soon, and it will most likely come after the Rhea release

I might ask the person I'm working with at CCP if they can make the news post early :P

I'm thinking that a lot of players don't even keep local open or visible any more.


I only keep local visible so I know if Herr Wilkus is in the system, then I can take the coal (that I have accumulated from many Christmases) and put them in my ass so I get free diamonds.

Yes, the first year, we had to contend with Concord, for the rookieship brawl, the second year CCP_Eterne gave us a mention in the news, and we had to deal with concord (for the rookieship battle), this year, CCP_Leeloo has been kind enough to help us not have to worry about concord for the rookieship brawl, and she is going to give us a mention in the launcher as well. :)

A quick question on the noobship brawl, are we allowed to fit them or just use the standard config when it's given to us?

We will provide pre-fit ships for each person based on their race.
Each ship will be fit the same as the other ships of that race, and each ship will be a T1 fit that leads to that ship/race's strengths.
the only exception to that is that all ships will only have one drone even though one race's ship has the ability to carry 2
