Not sure if this is the right place, but here goes:

I'm wondering if there is a way to set up 2 launchers, one for each screen that I have, so that I don't have to hit the esc menu and resize my screen every time I log me and my alt on.

Do I need to download a second copy of eve and a second launcher directed to that copy, or can I keep the one copy and figure out a way to run two launchers, each dedicated to one or the other screen.

Thanks in advance! Reply or email me in game!

IIRC you can only have one version of the launcher at a time. At least when I try to log in to sisi and tq with the launchers they cry.

to split them between screens I have not done, so I can't answer

EULA interpretations aside, you don't need 2 separate downloads, nor two separate launchers.

Just open the launcher and login on one account.

Then go back to the launcher and switch accounts and login on the second account.

You can easily have two clients running on the same machine and on different screens.

The problem is, that when i log on the other toon, it opens the game on the screen already occupied by the first toon. I'm wanting to get rid of a few steps and have the logon for each toon "default" to the correct screen.

There is no EULA interpretation needed, alt accounts and using them at the exact same time are allowed, and encouraged actually.

To the op:

I don't personally know of anyway to do what you asking as I play in windowed mode and alt tab my 3 accounts. so sorry

What you can do is:

Use the launcher for your main client

Create a junctioned client for your second account https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Multiple_clients

If you start it using the exefile.exe then it'll use a separate set of settings.

Windowed mode is best mode for multi-screen setups.

I just copy and paste the EVE folder and have one each for each screen.

The ideal dual monitor set up is to have one monitor with all your EVE clients open in windows and tabbed, and your second monitor open to Primewire or Netflix.

I'd suggest using windowed mode and drag/maximize the window in whatever window you want.

Also I +1 the post about all clients on the same screen and netflix running on the other. Watching Star Trek while playing EvE can get very meta.

Get ISBoxer and set yourself up with 10 screens, then steal all the ore in highsec. The tears are amazing it seems. Just don't broadcast anymore.
