In court the term used is "reasonable expectation." It gets used a lot.

Besides, they spent hours playing these silly games with the expectation of a chance of winning something. These twitch events are tbh very boring, they never start on time, its just sorta blah. So, during the first "a while, idk" people who won the raffles got their prizes. As more alcohol was consumed, and more and more people were being called c*nts by the host when they asked questions, the last folks who won and who had a "reasonable expectation" of actually getting their winnings did not. It was very tacky man, it really was.

So call it 0-0=0, thats fine man, I probably shouldnt bother arguing. But it made the whole iwantisk operation look bad, as evidenced by the poopstorms on their in game channel. Bad juju, man.

I just want to say again, I DO NOT think iwi is fixed or a scam. Someone said "3% of a trillion is better than 10% of 100M" or something to that effect. I dont consider that a scam, they have operating expenses, and tbh I'd be fine with it if they personally made some isk on it. Cmon man, we're all good capitalists here, aren't we? Besides, nobody complains when theygo to Vegas that the odds are always in favor of the house. How much of their earnings do you think they put back out on their promos and whatnot?

So again, iron is a good guy, iwi is a good and I believe trustworthy site. It just went the wrong direction last night, and I guess I'm just disappointed in the way it was (not) handled. ONCE AGAIN FOR THE TROLLS not my little issue, but the lasrt 2 raffle winners issue.

edit: Im happy to hear opinions on anythign Ive said. That said, try reading my posts before replying? Ive never asked for any isk, for example, because, you know, this was about 2 other ppl winning.....

As for internet lawyering, guess I shouldda left the part out about "reasonable expectation" being used in court. A less obtuse crowd would know that was meant to shot the validity of the concept, not a "threat to sue," and Remiel, why would I sue as u suggested when, again, this wasnt about me? Troll on, brother.

OP, between weighted odds, shill accounts and general bad practices, pretty much all gambling sites are scams, so pointing out one is being run by somebody unprofessional is hardly a surprise. At the end of the day, when you give your isk over to those sites you should just assume you've thrown it away and expect nothing in return.
