So currently I have my Golem. I do level 4 missions.
Here's my current fit:

Small tractor beam II (x2)

Cruise missile launcher II (x4)

Salvager II
Bastion module I

Sensor booster II

Republic Fleet 100MN Afterburner
Pith A-type Medium Shield booster

Ballsitic Control System II (x4)
Large warhead rigor Catalyst I

I need help with the medium fitting.
Should I switch my afterburner with a MJD and jump into the center of a battle and tank it?
Should I get a Large shield booster with a Pith A-Type Shield boost Amplifier for better tank/safer tank?

Sorry guys I've been gone for a few months, and I've been busy studying to really read-up on changes/builds, people have various ways of playing, I am looking to play in a semi-afk level 4 mission, where I can work at my own pace and salvage.

Edit: Should I use Fury missiles? Or should I use missiles depending on who I am fighting?

I run a pithum c-type medium shield booster, adaptive invlun II, prop mod, sensor booster, 3x target painters. I usually have a mobile depot with 1x of each hardener and more target painters, so I can swap out if needed. For a semi afk I'd probably go with the booster, 2x Invlun IIs, and bastion mode, or invlun + one of each specific hardener. sensor booster isn't really needed, and prop mod can be expendable for many missions.

personally a MJD just doesn't make much sense on a golem. The 100km jump range plus the golems damage projection sphere makes a MJD clunky to use to get into the action. And the other common use of jumping to 100km where your painters are in falloff, and it gets very easy to waste volleys doesn't make sense to me either. there may be a few missions where it makes sense to fit a MJD, but in general I wouldn't.

Agreed, I just did a mission and the MJD didn't feel right.
Bastion mode and just sitting near the gate + killing anything that comes in 40km range is fine withme.

so getting rid of the sensor booster?
Should I use a shield booster amplifier?
I stack the weapons (x2) so I have 2 missile launchers per target.
