No idea what they were doing but there are currently a few hundred free EC-300 drones in 6-CZ49. :)

it is a trick to uncloak ships, so they use the cheapest drones out there

Usually that's what cans/drones are used for, but in this case. most definitely to create lag. TO THE PETITION MOBILE!
