What is it?

EVE ShipInfo is a WordPress plugin that adds a database of all EVE ships into your blog, and offers a number of shortcodes to do things like adding links to ship information popups, or creating tabular or graphical ship lists.

The fun part building it was discovering ships I didn't even know existed :D

sounds like you have half of what is needed to create a ship fitting tool plugin for wordpress

As I slipped my finger slowly inside her hole, I could immediately feel it getting wetter and wetter.

I took my finger back out and within seconds she was going down on me.

It's a foundation you could build something like that on. I don't think I'll try to reinvent the wheel though, there are too many great specialized tools out there already. However, one idea I've been toying with is to add some kind of bridge between EFT and the plugin, so you can publish some of your fits in your posts.

Release v1.4 is out! Full changelog:


  • Updated data files for Rhea with new ships
  • Added more filtering options to the ships collection filtering API (Cargo bay size, Drone bandwidth, Drone bay size, Piloteable, Tech level, Turret slots, Launcher slots)
  • Added the new filtering options to the list and gallery shortcodes
  • Added more list columns
  • Improved ordering, added secondary property ordering
  • Improved the layout of the shortcode help pages with collapsible boxes
  • Added missing default values to the shortcodes reference
  • Made attribute type labels more meaningful in the shortcodes reference
  • Checked WordPress 4.1 compatibility
  • Reordered readme.txt somewhat for a better description
  • Fixed a few localizeable strings
  • Fixed the launcher slots in the ship info popup

I think one easy way would be to add the possibility to upload your EFT.ini. Then you could easily display a fit by referencing it by name, for example. I'll have a look at this for the next version :)
