Ok, talked a bit an our edmonton channel tonight about the meets. Certainly no change for the 13th. But this little thing we started does appear to be growing in size. Welcome to all the BL guys and others who plan on joining. I promise, you will not regret it, great bunch of guys, and great EVE talk. But... Our current venue may not prove adequate for any growth we find.
I found a place with some guys I work with a couple of weeks ago, that may prove advantageous. Probably seat about 150, and yet after 2 fridays, only about 15 peeps. The waitresses nice, actually happy to have customers (unlike BP's) and treated us well.
Place was also quiet for good eve talk. Food was PUB food, prices very reasonable. Watched both nights as folks came and picked up pizzas to go on the way home. Gotta mean something. Tried the food...good. Any ways, thought I would head over there this Saturday night and check it out.
Of course, if any one wants to join me, that would be great. Impromptu eve meet.

It is called Rosario's 11715 108 Ave NW, Edmonton

Let me know, it's a hidden away little pub that is kind of weird to get to, but I think it might be our answer. Very close to the original place (BP's) but on a one way street.

Let's consider it if we pack that little bar past capacity. I think past 15 to 20 range they may have a tough time. But we will have to see the turnout. I will give the bar a call and give them a heads up after this weekend.

Totally agree Smash. Am not talking about changing venue , only being prepared if we have to. We've been doing this for a while now, just happy to think it might be getting bigger.
