NPC'S not shooting back?

In local channel the other day some guy was claiming that on certain missions he runs the npc's don't shoot him because he has such a good faction standing with that specific npc. Is that actually possible or was he just talking rubbish? If it is possible how high would your standing have to be for this to happen?

Don't believe everything you see writen in local...

Unless you are in Amarr... because of the specific nature of amarrian religion people in Amarr local speak only truth under God...

When I do the Blood Raider 4/10 site in my Ishtar using sentries they don't fire back or even agress me. I assumed that it was because I did not move closer to them. Use an MTU for the loot can and the site is a breeze.

Note that I only shoot at the structure in the final room, not at the rats.

aggro can be goofy in some cases, but I'm rather certain that npcs will still shoot even with high standings...

I can also confirm caldari police will chase you even with 9+ faction Standings if you have low sec status, I made an oopsie a while back Oops

The absolute truth as they see it. Which has been known to vary somewhat from the truth of the matter from other peoples perspectives. The Amarr have got into a lot of wars because of this.
