It was my understanding that there WAS virtually no population there.

YC111 saw a number of major investment and colonisation efforts in Black Rise by Kaalakiota, Lai Dai and Wiyrkomi. Since then 5 years of war have reduced population numbers substantially, however the State Protectorate is responsible for the protection of a number of colonies in the region. We are also aware of the existence of unregistered colonies operating outside the jurisdiction of corporate authorities.

Indeed, if our data is accurate, the recent increase in capsuleer-led investment in planetary manufacturing has brought a small increase in immigration to the region, even in systems on the front lines of the conflict.

As long as there are Caldari citizens living and working in Black Rise, it is the duty of all State Protectorate pilots to fight for their protection, and we shall continue to do so.

Whilst the final Amarrian victory over the Shakorites is inevitable, I am sure that the tides of war will ebb and flow many more times before that day.

Having said that...

Given that his war is, by design, explicitly unwinnable, I wouldn't hold your breath.

Yep pretty much, my little medal in a drawer from helping capture all the caldari sytems is just further proof the systems change every year or so.

I wouldn't gloat too hard with conquering this system.

On the topic of people saying scope works left Huola because of the Amarr that wasn't and isn't true. We have engaged the Amarr while moving to our new location; and honestly they are horrid pilots and do not warrant staying to fight. The other night some tried to seemingly slow boat a megathron into a medium complex...and when the fleet warped off they left members to a drive by with our blasters. Poor pilot Gorp.

Huola was nothing but a staging ground where we actually helped Amarr stop Minmatar gate camps going after new pilots and industrials but no one remembers that stage nor how Amarr pulled the same thing the Minmatar recently did, the forsaking of our help.

The main reason for us moving is the removing scope works from their fleet actions and their channels; leading some of their members to be absorbed by our forces searching for a better home and we found one in a new system. A place where we can put roots and harvest materials to grow even larger beyond the former fleet compositions.

I don't remember shooting any blues...

It was for the good of Minmatar.
Except for Ushra. They suck.
See there were a couple of suspects on the Kourmonen gate.

Those rascily PL supers, always dropping in the most unexpected places.... and in all the expected ones... and most of the ones we suspect but are unsure of.... Hell, PL drops everywhere.
