I've been wondering if there is a way to set a destination/make way point around an entire region youre friendly with without having to do it manuelly?

I may have done it with the caldari State and im not gonna lie it took me roughly 2 days to map it all as waypoints and saving each one i was friendly with!

So I'm wondering if there is a way to set way points around an entire region without doing it manuelly?

Many THanks

When I decide to head out I open Dotlan in the IGB:

I use a WH to get out of K space and into null.
I open Dotlan to the region I have arrived in.
I right click on each of the systems I am interested in visiting in the sequence I want to visit them.
From the popup menu I select "add waypoint" (I think that is what it is called).

After I am finished that I go to the Dotlan navigate window and click on the Radar option. I can either track my progress from within the IGB or linked my progress to my out of game browser.

After that I follow the course plotted. I have planned as many as 50 jumps in less than 15 minutes.

CCP has stated that they have a new in game map coming. It would be good to be able to do what I described above within the EVE client versus having to use third party programing.

I hope that helps.

Basically im in high sec data and relic scanning.

So i can only go in places in friendly/neutral with and instead of pain painstakingly mapping out an entire region by hand, who im friendly with, to go scanning to system to system, is there a way of actually having a pre planned like way points made to go to system to system without mapping/way pointing an entire region by hand?

I would just use dotlan. Are you in faction warfare? What do you mean by places you are friendly or neutral with?

Quite honestly after doing it awhile you will remember your route. In the meantime as mentioned, Dotlan.

No, you have to rebuild your exploration route every time you play and destroy your hand in the process with the right-click fest. I wish I could save my routes to the notepad, and even link them into fleet chat for fleet members to be able to follow along exactly. I believe I've suggested both ideas in one of the "Little Things" threads. Being able to perform a single right-click, set route action to queue up my 80+ jump routes would be so helpful.

Well that would be perfect but i think for CCP they will think itll take fun out of the game but would help exploeres so much!

I've literally way pointed each high system in Calrari State and saved each one so i can back to it next time, Example W1, W2, W3 and so on and so one, 300 saved way points later over 2 days i mapped it! Wish i could just like save the entire thing and give it to people!

ALl i do is set way point for each saved system in order and i have my route all over again! Real is bu spending the time to do it is tiring as it took me a hole 2 days to do so!

But thanks anyways ill keep up to date with it click by click!

Many Thanks

Why do the same route? Mix it up and just go through gates. Find what you find.
