Project Skymother - thoughts? Templar One spoilers

Just finished reading templar one the other day, and [spoiler]towards the end, President Roden indicates that he knows about the minmatar's Project Skymother. [/spoiler]

So, does anyone have any thoughts as to what this is? The minmatar seem to be doing some weird stuff in New Eden, what with the exodus to new worlds in Empyrean Age, and the Elder's Sanctuary.

Is it in Empyrean Age that somebody goes to the Elder's Sanctuary and the Minmatar are constructing some absolutely gigantic ships? I always got the impression they were like Arks or something (Noah's, not the Amarr Jump Freighter)

Forgive me if i'm offering nothing helpful, been away from EVE for a few years so I have no idea what plot or lore things people have already figured out ^^;

Might be the Leviathan Iapetan Titan (not to be confused with the Caldari Leviathan Promethyan Titan that we can pilot!)

These are the super-Titans the Minmatar use, they're distinct from the other faction super-titans in that they're less for direct combat and more resemble gigantic cities in space (with logistic abilities like jumpbridges and such)

It's unknown by lore if the Minmatar Republic has them (conflicting info between: 'never built because too expensive for a young nation' or 'we built a few, then figured out they were too expensive') However the Thukker Tribe does have a few of those, numbers unknown.

Oh wow, thank you very much for the links! I think I recall these now. Particularly the Serpentis theft of a Solteur.

I was very new to EVE as a concept back then and I played very little on a different account to this one. I had always assumed these for Super-Titans were just early workings and names of the Titans we have today. I had no idea they still existed in-fiction and that they were even more fearsome and larger still than the Titans we can fly.

To bring this back around to the OP's topic, though, could Project Skymother be something bigger still? A gigantic Minmatar Exodus ship? Or is it more likely that they might be constructing new Leviathans?

We know that the Minmatar rescued vast numbers of Nefantir from the Amarr and took them to the elders sanctuary, and that large amounts of citizens have been leaving the failing republic for the safety of the Elders rule. Might be something to do with that.

Seems likely. I wonder if it's anything that will come to fruition and, if so, how long we'll have to wait to find out :)
