Black Hole Created In The Void On The Outside of Our Universe

"Be Curious." What do you think would happen if a black hole was created in the void on the OUTSIDE of our Universe? Do you think that a gate way to another dimension would emerge, nothing would happen at all, or would an extreme cataclysmic event take place?

Black Holes are common in the interior of a Universe, but what about the exterior of a Universe? Could they breach the distance between two distant Universes?

A black hole is not an object, but a set of properties of the universe. By definition, it can't exist outside of the universe because the universe is what builds it.

You can't make a snowball without snow, nor a black hole without our universe.

This thread got weird quickly.

A black hole is, by definition, a region of the universe from which nothing, not even light, can escape by any known means save Hawking radiation.

So it doesn't work 'outside the universe' at all. That's like saying 'a room inside of your house that's outside'.

you people are doing it all wrong.

Imagine an infinite waffle. That's the universe.
You start spreading raspberry jam here and there. That's the visible matter of the universe.
There's raspberry seeds here and there that are in the jam. That's your black holes.

Since you can't put jam anywhere else but the waffle because it's infinite, you can't put jam outside the waffle, ergo no seeds outside of the waffle = no black holes outside of the universe.


unless it's another universe, but that's your neighbours' infinite waffle, and he puts cream instead jam.
