be glad it is only a small but loud minority of so call hardcore pvp players who have no idea what this game is all about , they have this view that this game should be played their way and only their way

They are so ignorant about the rest of this game a,d they believie that all high sec dwellers are making plenty of money by doing just nothing and protected by concord

They have no idea that in this game if you want to acomplish something in this game it takes rime and effort, everything takes time and effort , from PI to ninja looting suicideganking hulks and everything in between IT TAKES TIME AND EFFORTand that is what those haters will not understand or ever will be able to understand
and don't say we highsec dwellers are safe and protected by concord , remember concord only acts after the deed and a war dec is relative easy and can disrupt any corporation no mattter what size
No those haters are just ignorant lazy asshats who have no idea how other people prefer to play this game

My friend, let me tell you how super-hardcore null-sec pvp works: you are alt-scouting 1 system, and blobbing the gate of another system 1 jump down the line. Then you wait all day for some unfortunate high-sec noob to pop up while alt-tabbing to the forums to vent your frustration.

Yep, I'm afraid that's all there is to it. High-sec players are busy doing their things, while null-sec pvp-ers are waiting for things to happen. Hence, the hate.

Let's see...the "haters", or "fashionably unimpressed" (whom I prefer to call passive sociopaths - since they aren't serial killers, but wish they were) seem to have cropped up in a couple of Western Civ centers on a generational scale. If it isn't this, it's something else, as long as they can put it down to "raise themselves up." Since I can whoop them with one arm tied behind my back, and if not me, my dear old granny could from her wheelchair, they don't scare me. But, lawzy they wish they did. Go figure. Self assertion without bounds. It's the sound of the ship of culture as she drags her bottom on those rocks. Lovely, eh?

Fortunately, or not, they're not confined to this game. Tragically, they've been reared in the computer age, and think they actually OWN video games...not the disk, the entire sheebang. They're in EVERY game, making their pronouncements on what is "uber" and what is "emo," (umadbro?) Couple that with their woeful misconception that they have infallable brains that couldn't possible compute in error and you've got quite an UGLY mix. (Yes, U-G-L-Y, yo' momma sez you ugly.)

What can be done? I say we have mandatory enlistment in the military, then we get into a HUGE war with some HUGE country and send them to show us how uber they really are. BUT, on this occassion we park the evac choppers. Do it "old school," so they know what old school REALLY IS! Give it about two years, and we'll all but have forgotten them...except (sigh) on Memorial Day.

Until such measures are taken, you'd best learn to live with it while keeping out of jail for felonious assault at the same time. Time? Yes, times have certainly changed, and not for the better. Lots of luck to yah - maybe 12/12/12 will be real and we can all relax.

The word HATERS is a little bit 2009. I thought it was reserved now for twelve year old over priviliged youtubers.
And Racists is just a word thrown around by white people that have never even seen racism, let alone suffered to it, who are offended on behalf of coloured people who don't have time for this nonsense due to some real issues that may include actual real racism.

Calling somebody a racial epithet in a computer game isn't racism. If you think it is, you need education.

It's no more racist than calling somebody a pedo is judicial, no more racist than calling somebody an knob is biological. No more racist than calling somebody fat is nutritional. No more racist than calling somebody a cabbage is vegetarian.

It's words, in a computer game. Maybe they are dumb words, maybe they are targetted to evoke a response, maybe many things, but one of the least likely things is that they are actually racist.

Racism is, and, I hope you don't mind if I quote from experience here, racism is where somebody forbids you from entering a weighbridge pit to work on the electronics "because there might be snakes or anything in that water, we'll have to send a ****** in instead, we'll get one of the brighter ones who knows how to use a screwdriver".

Or it's where you are forbidden from using the facilities available because you are English, not Welsh. Yeah, if you want to experience racism first hand so you can learn what it is, Wales isn't all that far away. May I suggest Newport or Cowbridge. (You may need to be white and English)

Believe it. You will know racism when you finally see it in your extremely comfortable lives.

The part of the Eve Community active in the forums is like a mob. Oh so clever, oh so cunning, bullies in the playground. Better not take things too serious around here.

Odyssey: Repacking in POS hangars for modules +1,  but please for other stuff too, especially containers. Make containers openable in POS hangars.

The single thing that defines EVE as a universe is that people are free to act as they wish and deal with the consequences that other players choose to impose on them.

If you want some game where "hating" is against the rules go play minecraft on a christian private server or some ****.

A lot of these kiddies are angry. And picking on the physically or military weak has been the predominant theme for the most angriest and hateful of people and societies in history. Political despots and bullies come to mind. For those with less access to political and social power, internet anonymity becomes their playground to enact feelings in ways they normally would not. And "carebears" (high sec dwellers) are considered the physically and militarily weak and so, become their target of choice.

But as despicable as some of these feelings are (such as hate), it is better they act socially rotten and inept in a game than to project these feelings of inadequacies outside a forum and face-to-face, as the consequences can be much more dire. The lesser of two evils, I suppose.
