I do a fair amount of pvp and go through a considerable amount of ships. Every time I go buy myself new ships I have to buy all the modules, ammo and rigs I'm going to use individually.

So, create a tool that lets you add items to it and buy all the items on the list at once. It would keep track of the prices of individual items and show you the sum of all the items on the list.
You could save your shopping lists and use them again later.

A feature like this would save so much time.

Sounds like a simple modification of the fittings windows for the good. +1

Something like that is discussed elsewhere already, and buying the equipment is not as easy as it sounds if you actually care about prices and don't just purchase everything in Jita, no matter the costs.

Although... Something like EveHQ's "Requisitions" is quite a good approach. There you can make up a list of items (modules/ammo/whatever) you need and EvEHQ keeps track if those are already in your possession (and where they are) and how much you still need to purchase.

Implementing something like that in EvE itself would be a good idea, so that for example one can click on a listed item which you need to purchase to access the market window with said item preselected.
