I was wondering, I would need the NPC corporation/faction logos for a project and those are not in the image datadump, they seem to be on the image server.

Now, am I suposed to hotlink them or run a script to download them all ?

You can simply hotlink them using the info here: https://image.eveonline.com/

If the project is a desktop application instead of a browser based thing you may benefit from writing something that caches the images locally after retrieving them.

But if your project is just something browser based like a website then just hot link the images.

It would likely be in your benefit to cache them youself regardless of your application type.

Hot linking from the image website's a good idea. Because:
A: you don't have it hitting your bandwidth.
B: It only hits the users bandwidth once (I'm assuming it's set for caching on the client.), for any hit on it within a defined period. Regardless of which websites they go to.

Local application is a different matter.
