I may have posted a few comments on a selection of things today

what's the newbie / newbro distinction? I used newbie in a post, accidental win?

said "bump" in another one as if I thought that would send the thing to the top of the "forum" (on purpose)

i've tried to vote at least once per day since this thread went up. thanks for linking OP.

Remember guys, if we don't win in every single category, CCP has confirmed that they will go back to the 2x a year patch model, will give the ishtar back it's 7.5% tracking/range bonus, and will not be implementing any further sov changes.

While Eve might not have the huge subscription numbers that the other Big Boys do have, Eve has one advantage, large scale community.

In any large MMO a guild or organisation is used managing dozens, of people, maybe hundreds, but that's stretching it.
If you manage to rally an Eve Alliance to do something, you're in the thousands, and even tens of thousands of people you're managing!

Even 'small scale' PvP in eve (a dozen or so) is already a big thing in most other MMO's (whole battlegrounds revolving around 10 vs 10 or so)

And in this light, we can see this voting for what it really is, a battle of MMO communities to to get their beloved MMO's in the spot they deserve.
In that light, the moment the Eve community heard of this voting, all other MMO's were reduced to competitors for second place, as we have the experience & knowledge to rally thousands behind a common goal! Eve: masters of PvP, whether it be combat, territory, economy, forum or internet, we shall not be denied our glory!
