UI adjustments when using a large screen TV for a monitor

Just hooked the wife's computer up to our new TV and she has an issue with in game windows (ie agent ,information) being overly large and taking up way too much of the screen. UI scaling only allows her to go down to %90. Is there any other way to adjust the size of these windows?

I've read about downsampling as a tactic to generate crisper PC game graphics - here's a primer.

The gist of the process is to spit out a whole number multiple more pixels (or, if not a whole number, at least a mathematically simple multiple) than the recipient display expects to receive. Since the math is simple, it'll downsample cleanly to the native display.

How does this help you?

Eve's UI is a fixed number of pixels. If you quadruple the number of pixels being sent to your TV (2x height and 2x width), the Eve UI will probably be significantly smaller.

Might work!

Glad I decided to check my topic and not just give up.

It does look like it is worth a try. Along with Eve there is another program or two that might benefit from this. Now I just need to get my wife to give up her computer long enough to give it a try.
