Family - a new type of bonus

If you are a husband with kids..

1. have everyone in your family join the game and have them create their own avatars (they would be listed as family members on your ingame bio).
2. Allow them to be guests on your ship (all ships in eve can carry several pods). Having family members on board gives you bonuses to speed/agility/damage/range etc.
3. Family members need to have their own accounts and they need to be online and in the same station as you in order to board your ship.
4. You can give control/command of your ship to members of your family for a limited time if you want more than just the bonuses.

Feel free to help develop the idea further

So, I can kill not only the men but the women and children too?

Make sure to give it mining bonuses so that carebear tears may be extracted more effectively when they saddle up the family.

There is an idea of a Gay Pornstar; some kind of abstraction. But there is no real me: only an entity, something illusory. And though I can hide my cold gaze, and you can shake my hand and feel flesh gripping yours and maybe you can even sense our lifestyles are probably comparable... I simply am not there.

Whenever I'm on a ship, my family is with me. It's a rather large family, usually consisting of six to eight.

Six to eight autocannons, that is, and they all get bonuses from the ship already.

Not only is this one of the more outlandishly silly things I've heard, the database won't support multiple pods in one ship and the last thing we need is more power creep - doubly so for power creep that requires ridiculous nonsense like having a family in order to get it.

So basically a multi capseleer ship

1st issue- do they just sit their or are they in control of guns, speed or shields...coz my family would probably self destruct it for lols.. just saying, or if you fighting with the wife and shes in charge of the guns...will probably shoot concord then blame you

An amendment- could be cool if each members was able to have a set of slots each and control mabe even more then the stand alone ship making it an enticing option, mabe a specific skill to use it effectively

But first some things will need to be democratic 1st self destruct, 2nd rank and who works with what

it would be an awesome addition if it was to substantially increase the stand alone power of the ship but it should be limited to certain ships...we don't need a multi capseleer titan...or do we...hmmm

this could really throw off the predictability of pvp outcomes and put a bit of chaos in...coolTwisted

during blob fights the lag would be pretty high if you could customize the amount of control people have over you ship

Sure, I'll stick cyno alts into an Orthrus for a speed/damage boosts along with the links/implants/ship bonuses/drugs.

These bonuses wont work as well if you have a booster alt, a stacking penalty.

Shiptoasting is a transposition of letters because typing out the word that describes what you do gets redacted by the profanity filter. Swap the T and P, then remove the A.
