That's true for the miner ganks. The nado squadrons that hit blingy battleships are usually ISBoxed...and thankfully that crowd will be going out of business.



Honestly, it'd depend on the setup/approach more than anything. I've manually multiboxed 5-10 man fleets, it's more a matter of lining everything up and alt-tabbing really quickly.

I've also seen people use a "focus follows mouse pointer" setup, and multiple tiled windows. Then popping off commands happens just as fast as you can hover pointer over a window and mash butan.

I've seen it used for Freighter and JF ganks. It's pretty rare to see as a function of ALL ganking. With regards to freighter ganks though, I would say at LEAST half the freighter ganks I've seen for profit have been carried out by multi-boxing software of some sort. Those doing it for lulz and sport however, tend to do it with mostly real fleets of people. It's more personal that way.

Yeah, so irrelevant miner ganking aside, serious freighter stuff you say is about 50 / 50.

conclusions must be drawn about upcoming changes to freighter prices.

Looks like

A) less ganks - less demand - price drop. Very likely.

B) Or less ganks - less risk - more people get into hauling - price on red frog drop - freighter price stable - less likely, this is skill-intensive thing to get into.

Then mineral price increase, if lets say half of mining fleets were isBoxed, minerals will go up by up to 50%, that will more then likely compensate for any drop in freighter demand...

I wonder.... Have to plug all this into my excel sheet.

I'd say minerals will be up short term, at least almost guaranteed for Dec timeframe.
That Bowhead freighter will put a dent into the low end stocks if it requires Orca level minerals for construction. Some early birds have probably started stockpiling them.

P.S Wtf, Bowhead? Can't they think of a better name.
