I know of three people that use ISBoxer to gank.

Two of them started as a way to apply pressure to CCP to ban ISBoxer.

I've played around with the thought of setting up isboxer for ganks for exaclty that reason. Though in the end I acknowledged I'm simply to lazy to put that much effort in training and setting up the software. Lol

Props to those who did though. I find that if you don't agree with any kind of loophole, your best bet to have it fixed is to abuse the crap out of it and propagate to others to do the same :)

Wasn't ganking with ISBoxer already one of this gray areas that got you banned because it gives you an unfair advantage in combat? I can remember I heard something along this lines on coms once from a guy who used ISBoxer to gank once. Could be wrong about that.

There were rumors of bans, and there were confirmed ships being replaced by CCP. CCP Falcon attempted to insult the ISBoxed playerbase claiming that nothing had changed despite evidence of the contrary. If he was indeed correct in that nothing had changed, then CCP had a GM problem where someone was sympathetic to the victims and handed out reimbursements left and right.

Confirming that friends are OP and CCP should immediately move to nerf friends.

Will I get banned for boxing!?!?!

+1. Agree 100%. Never much liked that show anyway.

Only comedy I could ever get into was CSI Miami...

In all honestly, I'd say very few suicide gankers were dependant on ISBox. It's easier to pop into channel and grab a few friends to go gank.

That's true for the miner ganks. The nado squadrons that hit blingy battleships are usually ISBoxed...and thankfully that crowd will be going out of business.

An interesting question for CCP now would be, if you are ganked by what appears to be isboxer, or bombed, or whatever.

If you petition, and the culprit was indeed found to be isboxing and is warned/banned, will the victims ship be reimbursed.

Umm you guys do realize that isboxer is not banned? You will still see isboxer fleets in space mining and ganking and bombing the same as before. The new rules from ccp has dropped the average isboxers efficiency probably somewhere between 3-15% depending on how much of your setup relied on broadcasts.

isboxer will be very much alive and working post 12/31/14

The only thing that needed nerfing was Rachel's apartment's thermostat.

Since the cessation of their usefulness is imminent, may I appropriate your belongings?

Be careful if you head into space lawyer territory. CCP have the final right of reply. If they decide you're trying to game the system they will not hold back the ban hammer.

We could ask loyalanon as the leader of code alliance and known isboxer.
How many alts did he use to gain first place on the killboards?

Also he could explain how or why this would be elite pvp.

You are grossly misinformed. Why would a ganker need ISBoxer...all you need are friends. Contrary to popular belief, ganking is not as easy as Code and others make it seem...especially large fleet ganking. Such things require human timing and interaction..which is more than I can say for the majority of miners, amongst others. It's a matter of skill. I regularly multi-box 3 accts at one..manually..and have NEVER used ISBoxer. Others are capable of running more chars than I without it too. Why is it that anyone who is better, or achieves something more is always a "cheater". Banning ISBoxer is going to hurt carebears and miners FAR more than gankers..mark my words. Twisted

If I had a nickel for every time someone said women don't play eve, I'd have a bag of nickels to whack the next person who said it..

I don't know 3d printed asses would be pretty heavy to distribute to the office.

Could be an excellent re-gift for Christmas though. Not even half as bad as one of those talking moose heads or a singing fish.
