[Rhea] The Confessor (T3 Destroyer #1)

Hello again quality conscious capsuleers,

As of today's Singularity update the new Tech 3 Destroyer AKA the Confessor is available for testing!

The full market should now be seeded with the Confessor and the relevant skill book (Amarr Tactical Destroyers)

The feedback thread for this change can be found here.

As always, I will update this thread with a list of known issues.

Known/Reported Issues

  • Contracts display an item representing the ships current mode.
  • The fitting window displays the subsystem symbols.
  • Selecting the same mode twice causes the cooldown to begin

I have a question regarding the tatical destroyers, not sure if it can/will be answered here so I will post it in the feedback thread also.

Will tatical destroyers remain there own gimmic and not influence strategic cruisers?

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

Price for the skillbook is still 1M (stingy I know). Confessor seems only available in Thera on a small sell order (10k).

All the issues that i saw it looks like you covered. I would really like to get the bonuses working so i can test a proper fit.

Also a question, are the bonuses stacking penalized in any way? and if so, how?

Its actually pretty frustrating, they were working in the previous build, we're investigating whats happened and we'll fix it as soon as we can.

As to stacking, the bonuses provided by the modes are not stacking penalized.

We think that the "Strategic" method of combining subsystems, and the "Tactical" method of switching between modes on the fly are both useful and viable branches of T3 ship design. You can expect us to keep working with both methods in the future, instead of trying to force all T3 ships into one or another.

unsure why on sniper mode it needs 100% sensor strength bonus?

T3's need to be versatile so no rigs are necessary ... they should not have OP dps and tank

ABC's should be T2, remove drone assist, separate HAM's and Torps range, -3 HS for droneboats

Should be done for all ships like Rorqual, Marauders, dreads, and anything else that changes like that.

i like the T1 resist profile hope it carries on as the T3 default .. especially on the current cruisers...
btw 33.33% beside the odd .33 why so high a bonus combined with the sig it might outtank AF's?

strats . will need many changes before it works aswell as tactical ,
- remove rigs , completely kills flexibility and adds hefty price aswell on them ( 60mil ish)
- make subs cheap (few mil) so that its worth having lots of them in cargo too swap around
- remove T2 resists and nerf the HP/resist subs
- make all fittings/stats attached too the hull and make subs bonus only

  • Overview icon is incorrect
  • The fitting window displays the subsystem symbols.
  • The mode buttons do not have icon or final tooltips.
  • One bonus is missing from the traits window (95% reduction to Probe Launcher CPU needs)
  • Traits tab is missing details of cooldown time (10 seconds)

any clue when you are working on T3 cruisers?

So slots are 6/3/5, and speed mode didn't appear to speed things up any. (Already noted in mode bonuses not applying)
