Plex Price Crash!

Prices down 10% in the last few days.

ISBoxer being outlawed as of the new year, all the tearful multi-boxers dropping accounts.

I said on a previous thread that as soon as I get involved in a market it's a sure sign the bubble will pop, looks like I was right again!

So am I the only person thinking that the price is going to crash hard?

It will drop a bunch sure, mostly because people panic and are idiots.

I'm buying all the way to bank during this "correction."

I also bought, all the way to the bank during the real market "correction." in October when eveveryone panic sold the DOW down to 16.3 and now we're back up pushing 17.9.

Panic sellers make smart investors rich - stay the course, PLEX has always gone up (like the stock market) over time, inflation isn't going anywhere, and this isn't the first time CCP has banned LOTS and LOTS of accounts.

The key is to hopefully "nail" the bottom, e.g. don't waste TOO much buying on the way down, try to buy as much as you can as close to the bottom of the curve as you can then just wait for it go back up. I'm thinking I'll buy 5 plex per 75 mil drop then once that curve starts to come around jump on a large bulk order and profit massively.

It's the same for me anytime I'm rolling at a craps table, everybody wins money but me.

No isboxers aren't selling yet, they are going to spend all the time gaining as much idk as possible to send to what ever account they plan on keeping if the do stay

They can drop all the way down to 5 isk for all I care. I doubt they will though and will be keeping my eye on the market to ride the waves :)

There are a lot of newer players coming in as a result of the 'This is Eve' Trailer that CCP released. I would be willing to bet that a good percentage of the PLEX being introduced to the market are coming from buddy links. RollLolCool

As that is just a bit more than a month away, that is maybe one PLEX for each account. After all, if you are planning on dropping the account on Jan 1, and its currently funded to the middle of December, will you really PLEX it again? Or just let it go? I doubt they will PLEX an account past Jan 1, (well maybe a few days past), and many keep their accounts funded for more than just the current month.

For those thinking of buying at the bottom: Think about when to buy. You do not want to buy at 850 if its going to go to 800, or 750.

Plex prices disagree with you. A drop like that on the same day of an announcement that most isboxers will be likely unable to play as they did is not a coincidence. I sold my stocks as soon as I could after I read about the change for this very reason.

Don't be a fool and panic! That is the only reason the prices are going down right now: panic.

Stay calm, hold your breath (and prices) and things will come to normality. Every good trader knows that patience is the key to success.

I'm somewhat "broken" (isk wise) ATM or I would buy every PLEX on the market from the ppl in panic and make HUGE profit.

There's still people buying at 852M (~70 units) but most buy orders are around 775M.

I can see them going lower short term. Medium term, no idea.
