This is a necessary change that will improve the game world.
We get it. Some of you think your livelihood depends on such tactics.
Allow me to shatter that myth.

Firstly, if you are running 20-character ISBoxer fleets to clear out asteroid and ice belts, there are several problems with what you are doing;
1. You're robbing other players of the opportunity to follow their chosen path. And while I'm glad for it every time a carebear "changes his spots" and turns to PvP, it's a rotten thing to do to fellow players, to be perfectly honest.
2. You're sinking into the most fun-murdering practice in all of MMO land. Playing the game to keep playing the game. It's mind-numbing boredom that makes the game feel like a job. Especially with what PLEX prices are like, right now. Keeping 20 accounts subbed when PLEX costs over 1 bil, each.... that's enormously expensive.
3. It's borderline botting. You're using the same playstyle as RMT ISK farmers, and with how famously angry CCP is at RMT'ers, you should have seen this one coming. There's no way of knowing if you're one of them, and you know good-and-well that RMT devalues everything and screws up the overall in-game economy.
4. I'm not entirely sure if the two things have an actual causal link, but I'm nearly certain that huge ISBoxer fleets have a lot to do with how expensive PLEX is. Now, while I appreciate being able to sell a PLEX for that much, there are people who are not as comfortable, IRL, as I am, and it's kind of lame guys like that can't afford to buy PLEX for ISK. Again.... there's no causal link for that, so forgive my conjecture.

Secondly, if you're using ISBoxer for "PvP", I have a laundry list of issues with you, but I'll stick to just a couple footnotes:
1. When something starts getting looked at for a nerf (stealth bombers) because of ISBoxers, that's a problem for everyone who uses them legitimately. Screwing up a fun playstyle for everyone, because you want an easy "I Win Button" is a **** move.
2. Many people consider it cheating when you link a bunch of accounts to a single F1 key. And to be fair, it kind of is. I care little to naught for your feelings. What you're doing is basically a grown-up version of when your little brother used to select 2-player on Tecmo Bowl so he didn't have to lose to the notorious "cheating computer" (wow.... dating myself on that one).

Lastly... to everyone who is crying about the impending doom of lost subscriptions: those players were temporary, at best, and not bound to stick around overlong, anyway. You can't strictly look at quantity of players... you have to pay attention to quality. When you're allowing something that loses the quality player in favor of quantity, your game's days are numbered. It's the truly loyal subscribers that will keep EVE going for another 12 years, and I'm happy to see that CCP is still focusing on the loyal players, and seeking to draw in new players that become loyal veterans.

Bottom line is: the ISBoxer ban is a good thing, and if you're angry about it, tough. The likelihood CCP will reverse itself on this is probably zilch. All QQ'ing is going to do is annoy people.
For those who seriously are quitting because of this change, though.... seriously. I'm taking donations of ISK, assets, and hatemail. If you have to cuss someone out, take it out on me, and leave us be.
However, I'd be more inclined to encourage you to stick around, and see where they're taking us. Believe it or not, we're giving money to one of the good developers. I've met a few of these CCP guys and gals, in the real world. I've BS'd and drank with them. They're good people. You learn a lot about a man when you get drunk with him.

I screw around a lot. Sometimes I push the envelope on what is/isn't acceptable on the forums here. I like to have fun, that's all.

This is one of those rare times when I'm trying to communicate something I actually mean, without the use of shock-value feigned rage for the sake of drawing out a few cheap laughs.
Enjoy it. This doesn't happen very often with me.

Also, multiboxing isn't banned. I don't know where that confusion came in from. Falcon was pretty explicit in saying that traditional multi-accounting isn't on the chopping block.

We can still use scout alts, booster alts, and haulers/miners/indy alts as intended. We just can't use 3rd-party programs to link them all to one keystroke or mouseclick.
