Nope.

I invite anyone, including CCP, to verify my torrent against the offline-installer.

Actually it would be a lot easier if CCP just made a torrent available to begin with, and made the launcher & repair.exe more robust, and friendly to incomplete transfers.

I'm not really someone who needs to have the best graphics available, but the new PBR looks great.

I'm actually pretty excited for more DirectX11 features, high resolution textures, PhysX, tessellation... all that cool looking stuff.

EVE is going to become an ever better looking game.

Noting when the server version changes; that means there is a new release. It also shows you what that release version number is.

I try to update my torrent thread the following day. Subscribe to receive notifications of my updates.

A torrent style updater would speed things up a lot.

Providing of course the system doesn't stealthily add all players PCs to the seed list without permission and trash everyone's upload quota's like that "other" MMO ..

"players PCs to the seed list" you do realize that is how a torrent system achieves its speed. hundreds of clients all uploading a small bit of info that makes of the greater picture.

If no one seeds (uploads) then not much different that CCP uploading.

Observe a single seed torrent's speed.

When I was between moves, I played EVE tethered to my mobile phone with a 1 GiB/month data plan. Game-play is fine, but I had to download every update via another connection.

When playing on SiSi, you can copy your main EVE folder to start, but SiSi is a test center, so it will get stuff that doesn't make it to TQ.

Even the Rokh looks stunning on SISI with PBR :) the 1.3 GB is worth it youll see if you havent had a chance to hop over to the test server yet.

I have a fairly old gt650 8gb ram and a quad core, i run everything on full with shadows at medium and it still looks good , the new ui feels very fluent and fast too i would go as far to say it helps with performance on my machine at least :)
