Glad to know that most aspects are eve are accessible for our D/deaf and HoH chums, but i can see why voice coms would be an issue.
With so many accents in game speech to text would have people much more confused than without it at all.. I can't say i have a idea on how best to overcome it :(

I think you missunderstood how i meant it.

In a normal movie/tv show i can see subtitles contributing a LOAD to understanding the full context as it has indepth dialogue and usually facial expressions to go with it .However in this case adding subtitles or not does not ''add anything'' to the whole as far as i can tell.What is being said in the eve vid adds allmost nothing to the context IF you take away the tone in wich it is said since there are no facial expressions to be seen , because THAT is why they added it ... to show how people get excited over this game.It's not about what they say but how they say it and even a '' /screams overly excited : Come on boys ''-sub will not contribute much to it if at all.

Offcourse this is my personal viewpoint as a hearing person , having 2 cousins who have been deaf since birth gives me ''some insight'' but that's about as close as it get's for me.

Haven't looked at the recent CC, but the most common errors I've seen:

* BNI: The bit about the Guardians. It is hard to portray that there were mixed opinions, ending with a "don't worry about that".
* BRAVE: The smartbomb run begins with the end of a sov grinding op, hence the "one week left" (Catch), and the comment "sovereignty is so much fun".

The default Google CC isn't even close. I thought it was a joke, until I realized it just couldn't handle speech-to-text.

The posted video with CC has the "Yay, sov is such fun" and "less than a week" comments before the pipe bomv, and as many people saying they can't handle guardians as I can discern. Other than adding lines explaining tone, I'm not sure what you think is missing, specifically.
