Can anyone please clarify something for me?

I’ve been doing anomalies in Caldari high sec over the last couple of weeks and had several escalations to 4/10’s but never any to either 1 or 2/10’s. There’s a lot of out dated info around, is there any reason I’m not getting the lower level ones?

Evelopedia seems to suggest that Hideaways and Burrows should trigger 1/10’s and 2/10’s – Has this changed? https://wiki.eveonline.com/en/wiki/Cosmic_Anomaly

I’m running anoms in a battlecruiser could that be a possible answer – I know BC’s cant access sites lower than 4/10 but can they not trigger them either?

The ship you fly has nothing to do with it. If an anom escalates, it will always escalate to the same thing ie in null sec the forsaken hub always escalates to Fleet Staging point.

This was not always the case, in the past some anomalies (like Havens that you can find in low and null) could escalate to either an 8/10 or 10/10. This was patched out 5 years ago.

I don't know why you arne't getting 1/10s or 2/10s, their is nothing in reent patch notes about that.

Thanks for the reply. I do try and keep up with patch notes but been away from the game for a while so there's lots of info to catch up on!

Just seemed odd to me, ran about 30 anom's yesterday - good mix of hideaway, burrow, refuge etc. got two Guristas outpost's in a row at one point but nothing else.

Not that I'm complaining mind you, got a pitn c invul out of it - my second in three days! No wonder the price for them is plumeting!!!

Well, to be fair you'd have to consistently run just 1 type of Anomaly to get an idea of the percentage chance it has to escalate.

In other words, just run 30 Hideaway sites only and see how many times it escalates.

yup, looks like I need to keep a spreadsheet!

Just feels strange. Did a fair few more mixed sites today with 2 escalations to Guristas Outpost - nothing shiney Sad

Do you remember what sites escalated? So far I have only seen the Hideaway and Refuge escalate to the GSO. Were any Burrow's?

I think it is way off from where it should be. I did a refuge in Galente space and got a 3/10!

I kept track of 20 Serpentis hideaway sites;
2 sites had a Shadow Serpentis frigate spawn. No note worthy loot.
2 sites escalated to 3/10 complexes. Got a Daredevil BPC Coreli A-Type 1mn Afterburnet and a Coreli A-Type Small Armor Repairer plus a couple A-Type armor resistance platings.
16 sites did nothing.

If you don't follow the rules, neither will I.

I am keeping track now. I'll report back later.

Interesting that others are getting 3/10s, guess ive just been unlucky.

I've been running quite a lot of serpentis anoms since the expansion. So far hideaways and refuges escalate to 3/10, dens to 5/10 and burrows failed to trigger anything.

nobs eve, I hate tried a lot of Guristas Hideaways, i always get a 4/10 escalation. I didnt get any kind of escalation from Guristas Refuges, but i got a 5/10 escalations from Guristas Dens, all in High Sec.

So far, in Caldari space, i can get 1/10, 2/10 or 3/10 escalations from anomalies.

Yesterday's great escalation: Gurista's Hideaway to GSO. Loot: Pith C-Type Medium Shield Booster and Pith C-Type Medium Remote Shield Booster. Almost 80 mil. ISK earned!

Now i read the horror i wrote. What i tried to write was "So far, in Caldari space, i can NOT get 1/10, 2/10 or 3/10 escalations from anomalies". I find those sites only in signatures.

Also, the 5/10 i got from Guristas Dens were in HS. One was in Osmon.
