I'm currently trying to focus on tackling aspect of the game before working my way up now i've had a few "encounters" with other ships where while i was running my MWD i got pointed and my MWD got turned offWhat?. Can overheating the module combat this side effect? I really prefer the gap closing bonus of the MWD but it had gotten me wondering if to fit an afterburner because of this.......
Also is there a skill to make my ship respond faster to commandsRoll?

A warp scrambler turns MWD off, and there's no way to prevent that. A warp disruptor does not affect MWD.

Some people fit dual-prop, MWD and afterburner.

A warp disruptor does apply 1 point of warp disruption and has a long range.

A warp scrambler applies 2 points of warp disruption at short range AND disables micro modules (micro warp drives and micro jump drives).

That last thing can only be battled in 2 ways:

A. Kill the tackle.
B. Get out of scram range.

Overheating has no effect to the scram turning your MWD off.

---

Dual prop can help.
AB fitting can help.
Tactics can help (dont get close enough for a scram if you are disruptor fitted).

---

What do you exactly mean with faster response on actions.

If you actually mean effect, it is likely no. As the server is set to 1 Hz and nothing can speed it up.

The moment you click a module it is applied at the next server tick (if it aint chance based).

Ehem! Only two 2 ways?

C. Neut the tackle so that he runs out of cap to use the scram.
D. Jam the tackle (ECM)
E. Damp the tackle so much he loses his lock
F. Make the tackle voluntarily go away (scare him, lure him, ...)

All these have in common that you have to make the tackle stop using the scram. There's no module that directly counters the MWD disabling of a scram - even warp core stabilizers will only allow you to warp (if you have enough), but you'll still be blocked from using the MWD.

In other words.. "Make the tackle stop tackling".
And I thought WCS countered scramming the mwd? Never tested it though.

No, WCS only allows you to enter warp if your warp strength is not exceeded by the amount of point strength applied.

WCS have no effect in preventing MWD from being disabled by a warp scram.
