Was a pleasure flying with you guys in an observer capacity. Lots of fun fights were had, and we got to see it all up close and personal. We need to do this again sometime!

This gentle space pilot has a point.

Fighting under the cover a cyno-jammed system is the most powerful buff a developer-organized fleet could give itself when flying conventional ships in low- and null-sec.

The first fight in Tama was not incursion'd by CCP and guess what happened?

They got dropped by PL supers and titans, and decided to incursion and cyno jam all their future systems where they would be flying.

I did not manage to take part in these events, but CCP playing their game is a really good sign.

I hope you manage to run these events regularly, possibly every weekend, possibly in small gangs instead of a somewhat large fleet.

Keep up the good work!

P.S.: there are rumors about the CCP fleet shooting the pro-CCP player fleet. Is that true?

All of the events where all out fun.

Thanks to CCP in general for doing this, extra for those taking part of the action, and extra kudos to the poor bastards trying to coordinate it.

And thanks to the naturally backstabbing, coldly calculating, devious spreadsheet mongrels that is known as players of EvE, with an extra thank you to the crew that worked with the crazy ragtag pubbie fleets.

Now, can anyone please give a relevant value of isk/fun so I can update my spreadsheets? ;)

CCP Greyscale: As to starbases, we agree it's pretty terrible, but we don't want to delay the entire release just for this one factor.

Please, ignore the people who rage about missing this.

Continue to do it. It's unique and something that really can only be done in this game.

The only suggestion I have is that CCP Alliance actually start to function and act as one. Don't stop with simply roaming. Keep at what you're doing and go full force with it.

-Use your sov space
-Grind the isk up to buy your ships
-Build or purchase your ships. You guys need to see how the manufacturing is in EVE.
-Run moon reactions to generate an income.
-Create a reimbursement program and try to find ways to keep CCP alliance floating and it's member base happy.

etc. etc. etc...

Basically, play the game so you can experience our frustrations first hand.

Disagree on the grinding, sov, building and what not...
Why should they waste dev time on that? Some of them already play the game in their alliances, leave it at that.

But it's a good thing they're doing these events (and it should be just that, EVENTS), let's hope they continue to do so (and I might finally be there when it happens next time ;)

Check the killboards, not only did they backstab their supposed defencefleet.

(Not to mention that the non-podding CCP fleet managed to pod Darius III, by mistake, or so they say)

There was also several 'accidents' of blue-on-blue.

Guard!

We still want the video from the Team BFF crisis meeting ...

That would be good, seems like they're playing EVE (scamming, backstabbing and lying), all part of the game.

Player defense fleets were asked to stay away from the bulk CCP fleet as they had no way to tell who was hostile or not. No actual defense *fleets* were destroyed by CCP, but some stragglers warped in to see what CCP was up to and were instantly locked and shot.

On a more serious note; yes, a number of developers now understand better what a fleet fight feels like and want to improve that experience.

I can see that - with today's patch immediately toning down the Sensor Booster visual effect... Lol

What looks fine on one ship in isolation is a whole different story when a 100+ strong fleet in small pile has sensor boosters on every ship running...

Bummed I missed it (I live in unknown space so it would've been my high sec alt) but that is RL for you. Keep doing these every few weeks. I will get out there to see what fleet warfare is all about. Maybe I can put a cone on a bomber and ram someone! This is the ultimate 'playing the game for fun'. No worries about making isk/hour/minute/sec, no worries about this being perfectly balanced with that, no worries about doing this or that for the alliance, just for or against CCP and go to it.

Kudos.

Would love to see if you could do something in high sec but I don't know what. Would be interesting though.

I may not like you or your point of view but you have a right to voice it.

Suggestion:

Why not build your fleet around a carrier next time? (still making sure to stay in incursion systems to avoid it instapopped by titans). Have the carrier hold all loot, it will make a more "natural" defense scenario and will provide some little extra for the high sec players that has never battled a carrier before.

thak you guys for doing this, as to the fleet fight i think you need to bring a bigger blob of ccp staf inc the ceo. (corp would be worth a titan i think)

as to your rules
No podding of players by CCP employees (though they would be encouraged to pod us and make fortunes selling our corpses) - this should not have been put in we can pod you only fair you get to pod us.
No entering Player owned space. - this was a good idea
No faction fits except for ammo. - we could use it so should you guys
Use Incursed systems to enable only sub-capital ships taking part. - good idea
Spread the events both over the map and over the timezones to be as inclusive as possible. - another good idea
Have fun with our players (and not to hold back on the smack talk!) - should always be top of your list in live events
