Anybody else here been flying with/against Halifax'a fleets? He's done a really good job of bringing people together on the minmatar side and creating teamwork. Even though we've lost a couple of fleets so far, it's been a blast learning how to put together fleets that utilize minmatar' strong points and have success with them. Does anyone here know where to get more information on good fleet tactics in faction warfare? I've heard a lot about a player who had created good minmatar fleet doctrines a long time ago called "ELO knight" but he isn't in the militia anymore. So it seems like his knowledge on fleet commanding went with him. Heck, maybe I'll shoot him an email sometime to see if he has any suggestions.

ELO Knight is now one of the primary FC for Black Legion. As for doctrines and FC, I'd recommend you join up with one of the more experienced corporations. To my knowledge Gallente FW has many reputable corps/alliances, Amarr has a couple, Minmatar has a couple, and Caldari are a little lacking mainly due to the strength of Gallente at the moment. This would just be in regards to doctrines/FCing.

Since CCP released the "This is EVE" trailer, there's been a huge influx of new players. I am heading to the newbie zone now to go recruiting.
