The Distortion effect is only visible on High Shaders, which sadly may not be available for all graphics cards.

You removed High Shader with Crucible.
Running on Windows 7 enables High shader setting (using Boot Camp.)

Is there any particular reason why High shaders was removed from Crucible Mac client?
