Or not really, most highsec players are only tangentially involved in the game at large I'd say. You play EVE the game yes but does anything you do make any impact? Not unless you're a PLEX speculator. I doubt most highsec miners can play that game.

Simply Genius.

Pictures, sounds, american voices like in Hollywood films.

The best trailer i saw to sell Eve Online.

Even my wife opened big eyes and appreciated.

Really awesome video. Been a while since I last had chills come down my spine from a EVE Online video (since CCP used the events of a single person taking everything in a massive alliance as a promo trailer). Keep up the great work guys, and ignore all the trolls and flame/hate people seem to want to spread just because they can't use their brains and take advantage of what is there for them to do :).


To all the people that wish to post hate/troll/flame:


The trailer is made to show-case what was submitted to CCP, so if you want to whine and complain about what was shown, then how about you get off your lazy bum and do something?
You can record what you do in high-sec.
You can record what you do on gate camps.
You can record and submit everything you do on a daily basis and let CCP see how YOU play the game.


What was shown in this video, while yes it is mainly null/low sec events, can be changed by the playbase to show more high sec actions and events. Though it may not be as entertaining, it can still be done in a light to give new players coming in an experience with both high sec powers, low sec powers, and null sec powers.

This game is what you make of it. The community is what you make of it. Don't whine and complain because you didn't do **** to change something, you can only whine if you actually did something and they refused to change even after you tried your hardest.

By far the best trailer to represent EvE.

Things like this are excellent tools to promote the game.
The next step is the New player experience & retention. This is where peoples experiences often fall short of their expectations, after initially being drawn into trying the game.
One of the things in this area that needs to be looked at, is teaching new players how to make isk.
New players start out doing tutorials & running missions in high sec, but the rewards from missions is way out of touch in, relation to market prices in today's EvE.
There is no way a new player ( most often new players are casual players) on a trail, could hope to be able to gain experience & at the same time make enough isk, to afford a new ship, little lone a plex (close to 1bil isk) so that they can continue to play.
So imho I think we need a rebalance of missions rewards & a tutorial of sorts on how to make isk.
So hopefully these new players, will become long term members of our community.

Ok, well I have always liked Eve trailers, as I know & love the life in Eden (AKA:The game).

I am mostly a HS carebear, but will move to broken Null sooner or later (as is the natural progression)

But I have always had a problem explaining to non players using previous trailers, that all the ships in the trailers where flown by REAL people, with REAL worries, fears, dreams & dramas.

This trailer, brushes all that aside & shows how people work together as a community, each in their own ships worried about their loses & the Hero's it makes (sort of).

So not just the best trailer in my opinion, but the most REAL Eve trailer.

Please keep these coming, but don't dump the story trailers; I liked the previous trailer giving up your life to become a immortal clone, f'ing up in a fight & starting in another fresh clone.

The story trailers build the scenes/backgrounds, the current trailer shows the trials and tribulations of us Pod-dwellers.

With my best wishes for the next trailer, I am with baited breath o7

As I said before - the beast damn video you have ever put out.

I have been trying to get my wife to join me on the flip side of eve for 10 years. She knows all about it in more detail than she cares to knowm but even this video redefined the stories in her eyes and made her want to try it out.

Absolutely love it, the best explanation of eve out there.

Loved it, I've had to watch it several times!! Brilliant way to show Eve's intense and unique game play.

I showed it to a friend who isn't a gamer and he said "I got an adrenaline rush just watching that video." :D

There is much more to Eve than null/low sec wars. Shameful that CCP/CMS feels we High Sec Dwellers are NOT part of the Eve Online Community. Good to know our CSM representatives feel we are not worthy of representation! Thanks you for admitting we do not matter a tinkers f*ck to the CSM.


Actually the CSM told you what to do, this is why you're not represented. All you do is whine and ***** and refuse to make any changes because honestly you don't have to. But don't do nothing, and expect something amazing to showcase your nothingness.

Oh the more positive side, awesome video CCP and all contributors, you do us proud once again.
