CODE was mostly picking from where hulkageddon left of.

The IPOs and mining permits started around late 2012. I'm quite sure the goons pioneered most of large-scale ganking.

Eh, doubt this will affect code very much. Worst case scenario for code/best case for high sec is it all breaks down into more independent entities. Ganking is good for the health of eve. Gives people something to do, helps with player retention. That said, code thinks it's influential the same way a man thinks shooting a shotgun into a barrel of fish is powerful. Delusions and such rofl.

You see, the kind of manpower and organization you need to gank nowadays makes for very few smaller independent entities. The current environment isn't conducive for such as them.

TCE and Loyalanon have been doing great work, and the plans that he presented to whomever would only help strengthen the stronghold that CODE. has already in High Sec. But instead one of the only few who received that mail, thought it would be better to "BACK STAB" one of the directors instead of what, oh, discussing it in a Alliance meeting. Again I guess that is hard to do when you are never active..

Just my two cents worth on this whole "As Eve Turns" Drama show.
