Wait, you use the term "rping." Do you mean R-Ping? For those not in the know, this was a high-frequency radio pulse used during the original Gallente-Caldari conflict that caused sensor suites to target themselves.

I applaud your effort, but that tactic was outdated when my grandfather was a boy. Still, a novel approach and worth a try.

My sympathies Mr Foryx, it would seem perhaps you approached the sleeper vessels with an inadequate starship. Perhaps the utilisation of one of the rare Zephyr class exploration frigates might aid your endevours in future.

The use of solar wind for propultion and minimal electronic signal radiation renders this ship invisible to whatever scanning systems the Sleeper drones utilise. This should get you close enough to be able to use a short range communication band and attempt to hack directly into the automaton's logic systems. If you perhaps route the data feed into the Memory Augmentation Image processor through you temporal lobe, you might be able to 'see' what it is these things perhaps 'think'?
