Hello everybody- this is the Jovian Archivist, here with a very important bit of information to share with you!

now.eveonline.com has had a lot of interesting things posted to it these last few days- the first was a picture of what appeared to be a sleeper vessel of an unknown designation. The second, posted yesterday, contains an enormous cloaked structure and a ship in the distance.

The one from today, however, has made me realize that something enormous is underway.

The picture itself, while it does reveal what the first picture was, does not provide much information.

The quote below it, however, is a very important thing to know:



On the surface, not much seems to be going on here other than Jamyl Sarum telling her empire that the Sleepers are dangerous (you don't say?). However, there's something going on in a much deeper sense.

If any of you haven't read Templar One yet and don't want it spoiled, stop here.

So Empress Jamyl Sarum, as we know, is a capsuleer. She was supposed to have died following the succession trials, but returned, as she had gone against the law of the Emperor family not cloning themselves. However, something happened during the cloning process: an entity took control of the facility and modified her. This entity is known as the 'Other'.

The 'Other' is an entity born completely within the confines of the Sleeper VR world. It wishes to destroy the Sleepers and change New Eden into its own vision. Now, we don't know what that "twisted vision" (as Grious calls it) is, but it does not bode well for humanity.

The 'Other' has control over Jamyl. It can 'posess' her and make her say whatever it wants, along with controlling her body and modifying her memory. It is now instructing the Empire to seek out and destroy the Sleepers appearing.

Do the Sleepers ever attack us? No, not unless we approach their home. For the most part, they have wanted to be left alone. However, they are now making their way back into New Eden, where they originally departed from. They are well aware of the threat the 'Other' poses to their world, and will doubtlessly be trying to eliminate it. the 'Other' is obviously opposed to this, and though it lives through many more entities than Jamyl, it is not safe from the Sleepers. It wants 'us' to destroy the Sleepers to protect itself.

Now, along with this, we have seen a number of communiques from Hilen Tukoss recently ( [1][2][3] ). The first two were cryptic and filled with hexadecimal code. They requested for the body parts of Misu Baniya, which were distributed in 2004, to be donated to Site One, the Arek'Jaalan research facility in Eram.

However, the third message is very different. It is a broken communication from Tukoss, seemingly telling us that he is being held by someone or something, and that Site One has been compromised. The first time I read this, I immediately thought that either the Sleepers were acting maliciously in some way, or that the 'Other' is scheming something using the parts. But with today's message, I have realized that something much, much bigger may be happening.

Some more background: the Sleepers are suspected to have created the Jovian Disease to covertly force the entirely of the Jovians to join them in their world. They left after the Jove pursued them, and escaped into Anoikis.

But the thing is, the Jovians fear the 'Other' as much as the Sleepers do. It is the single biggest threat to ever emerge in New Eden, and as it is now, the Sleepers and Jovians have a common enemy. If it truly is the Sleepers who are collecting the Ambassador's body parts, then they are intending to use them for something. The only thing I have come up with is that they may intend to reverse the Disease and work alongside their brothers to oppose the 'Other'.

If this is at all true, than it means three things:

One: We cannot trust the Empires in this matter.

Two: The Sleepers are not the enemy.

Three: We are about to see something beyond the scope of anything we have experienced in New Eden before.

I just may be completely wrong about this entire situation- but if I'm right about even one thing, than this needs to be heard.

I'm... confused. What's going on?

Something something wormholes, something something sleepers come to destroy everything, something something go to wormhole space.

Sleepers are coming to K-space.

The 'Other' wants to use us to protect itself.

The Sleepers are collecting the parts of a Jovian.

The Jovians and the Sleepers now have a common enemy.

The Sleepers are suspected of creating the Jovian Disease, and may now be about to reverse it for the purpose of stopping the 'Other'

Or at least that's what I've gotten from these happenings- something big is happening, and I'm going to keep myself updated on it. The panel at EVE Down Under on saturday will likely reveal even more, by the way.

I could be wrong about this, but a theory is always worth sharing And if thisis what's happening, than I'm siding with the Sleepers and the Jovians.

Well, if I may speculate, I'd say the Jove resurrected Sansha from old DNA and a cerebral scan they keep in backup (as with every capsuleer, after all it's our brains they study in hopes to find out what broke theirs) and promoted his forces with bits of their technology to create a force they can use against whoever exposes themselves as a threat towards them.
