Hi folks,

We do have a problem with out of corp alts because the standing / tax relatio is based on corp standings.

We also have some peolpe on red, without setting the whole corp on red. Specially chars staying in the beginner corps for years.

If you experience the same problems please post your opinion here to bring it to the Devs.

I woudl like to know, whether it is possible for CCP to change the whole system from corp to personnal standings ?

cheers

No it would not be without making the POCOs personal rather than corp assests. One recommendation is just to simply have your corp set the persons or corporations to the standings you ask. If you paid for the POCO i would hope they would be more than happy to ablige since they are getting the tax income.

That's the problem:

personns put at blue but inside a beginners corp pay full taxes as neutrals.
personns red as a tomato but inside beginners corp pay same taxes.

This is even true if the personns standing to the corp has been defined. Personnal standing of a char in relation to a corp does not seem to have any significance in the existing system.

It would, to my humble opinion, be much better to use personnal standings. And derived standings from corp to corp only if no personnal standings known concerning the POCO owning corp (just like the info sheet).

That would keep the corp responsable for taxes but enable it to admit some players to have better taxes.

As a corp you can not set a beginners corp as blue or red, imagine the problems in day to day life or with POS management ........

I really do not see an issue with the system... If your problem is nuets you do not like using it then make the tax rate 50% to 100% and make them get off.

If the problem is your alts cannot access without paying an arm and a leg, then just pay the arm and a leg and get the money back from corp.

The current system is very easy to work around. If you made it personal standings then you have to make it a personal asset and I do not believe there is a system in place for that and would be rather complicated to transfer to another single player. Furthermore, they would have to introduce an "assets in space" section for personal items as well, etc etc.

Big smileIf the problem is your alts cannot access without paying an arm and a leg, then just pay the arm and a leg and get the money back from corp.

We thought about that, too.

But as soon as 4,5, ..... ....20 alts come into play on let's say 15 planets the thing starts getting unmanagable. Unless you just believe and pay whatever your corpmates tell you..

I think we are based on a different understanding of personnal standings. I thought of " char versus owner corp " standings, which makes it easie and almost democratic to decide who pays what kind of taxes.
All these information seem to exist as you can find them when rightclicking a char for infos.

I didn't understand what you mean with that remarque. Maybe due to my limited english.
